A Spring Choral Concert: How Can I Keep From Singing

The Caroline L. Guarini Department of Music, Dance and Theatre presents "A Spring Choral Concert: How Can I Keep From Singing! " featuring the NJCU Concert Chorale directed by Donald C. Morris. The program will feature works by primarily contemporary American composers who have set inspirational texts of joy, hope, and love to amazingly powerful and beautiful choral music. Jazz Big Band

The NJCU Jazz Ensemble welcomes you to an exciting evening of Big Band music for listeners of all ages! The concert will feature the Jazz Ensemble built by NJCU’s own jazz department. The music will span the full history of jazz and showcase music from the great groups of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Thad Jones, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, and many more. Under the direction of Nathan Eklund, the ensemble will deliver a powerful, dynamic evening you won’t forget!

Join us for an evening of music and movement as the NJCU Multi-Style Strings ensemble presents “The Art of Song and Dance”, a concert on the art of songwriting. This performance showcases original compositions and arrangements, all crafted by our talented student musicians. Our ensemble will bring a diverse array of styles to life, blending strings with storytelling, some performances featuring choreography from the NJCU Dance Club.
Spring Pop R&B

The Pop R&B Ensemble is the creation of the NJCU Music Business program. It is dedicated to performing classic “pop” with a focus on rhythm & blues music from the pens of 20th-century tunesmiths whose work ruled the airwaves from the 1960s to the present day.
