Over 100 golfers and a host of sponsors participated in this inaugural event held at the Forest Hills Field Club in Bloomfield. Proceeds ÃÛÌÒtv the 24 sports on offer at NJCU, one of the largest and fastest-growing NCAA DIII athletic programs in the country.
Alumni enjoyed a beer tasting networking event hosted by Paul Silverman, NJCU Foundation Board Member at the Silverman Building in Jersey City. Alumni sampled delicious NJ Beer Company offerings, also courtesy of Mr. Silverman, while enjoying jazz performed by NJCU Music, Dance and Theatre students.
Alumni returned to NJCU for a day on campus while mingling with current and prospective students attending the Fall Open House. Activities included tours of the state-of-the-art newly renovated Science Building, a visit to the John Moore Athletics and Fitness Center conducted by NJCU’s Athletics Director, Shawn Tucker, an alumni and student art exhibit and a networking event featuring salsa music performed by NJCU Music, Dance and Theatre students.
NJCU President Sue Henderson and the NJCU Jazz Ensemble visited alumni in five key locations around the state this past February. Nearly 200 alumni and friends in West Palm Beach, Miami, Naples, Bonita Springs and St. Petersburg enjoyed an update from President Henderson on the exciting things happening at NJCU, mingling with their fellow alumni and being entertained by the NJCU Jazz Ensemble.
