Dear NJCU Family,

As we pause this Thursday to celebrate Thanksgiving with our family, friends, and loved ones, let us reflect on all that we have to be grateful for. This year, I share my message with you in a video from our Gothic Knight Food Pantry, a vital resource that plays an essential role in addressing food insecurity on our campus.

Thanksgiving is not only a time to appreciate what we have, but also to reflect on what we’ve endured. It’s a time to find grace in the moments that tested us and to offer forgiveness for the moments when we may have fallen short. It’s a time to celebrate the joy of gathering, while also holding space for those we miss and the challenges we’ve faced together.

May this season bring you peace, gratitude, and a renewed sense of connection to one another. From my family to yours, I wish you a happy, healthy, safe, and celebratory Thanksgiving.

With gratitude,

Interim President
