JERSEY CITY, N.J. | New Jersey City University (NJCU) Interim President was a guest on the Univision news program “Amigos De Univision” on Saturday, April 8 and Sunday, April 9 on “UniMas.”

It was the second major New York area television appearance for President Acebo in a week, as he continues taking the message of the importance and future of NJCU and the NJCU community directly to the community it serves.
Among the topics anchor Lulú Gomez (@luludanzatv) talked with Acebo about included the university’s emergence from its financial crisis, the impact the pandemic had on NJCU’s students and community, challenges NJCU students overcome daily, some of the daily challenges he is working on in his role as president, and his unique and unconventional path to the presidency of the university as the only current Latino leading a university in New Jersey, public or private.
